If you own a domain, there’s a good chance you’ve gotten a letter asking you to register your domain with a Web listing service. If you read the letter carefully, you probably realized it was junk mail and tossed it away.

Perhaps you weren’t sure and did the smart thing: Called your web design company before forking over any money to an unknown company.
